Mark,
I signed up! I know your stuff is first class and am happy to be an Affiliate.
On a slightly different topic, I’m one of the people lucky enough to have pre ordered last month. When to you think I’ll have CAP 2.0 in hand? I already have 2 projects I want to use it for and both projects have deadlines coming up.
I would say Friday at the latest. But there is a better chance you will have it on Thursday. We are pushing out the pre-orders on Tuesday with 2nd Day UPS, assuming you’re in the states. If this is International then please allow around 3-7 Days to arrive.
Just signed up as an affiliate. Your stuff is awesome. Question though…
How long will we have to promote CAP2 as an affiliate? I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a limited launch, and once you’re out, you’re out, or if you will be offering a downloadable version once the hard copies are sold out?
Thanks!
I will be selling it for as long as I can. Looking at things though, I will probably need to produce more copies very soon. If we sell out, then all the affiliates will be notified right away.
CAP2 will stay on DVD’s.
Mark,
Awesome that you have an affiliate program. Great info and tuts on the blog. We will get started promoting now.
Tim
Can we use the affiliate link for our own purchase of CAP 2.0? Also, will we be able to use it during launch?
Hi Tom. It’s against the TOS and may get your account suspended. The affiliate commissions remain pending and are verified before they’re released. You are free to promote the link for launch.
Ok, thanks. I guess I won’t use it for myself then. I’m still gonna get it! Will we know for sure whether or not we’re one of the ones to get the bonus DVD or will we only find out after we order it?
Hi Mark,
well today is the day we have all been waiting for, and we are now almost 2 hours past the scheduled release time, with no email or any changes on your site .. just wondering if you can please post somethign here to let us know if there are any problems or reasons for the delay.
Cheers
Ok … so I don’t know what is going on with the countdown timer here … but I just checked the time conversion on a different website … I will see you again at 6am tomorrow (26th) our time, which should correspond with 1pm 25th your time :-)
James
Hate to disappoint you, but as of right now… 2:41 AM Eastern, we still have over 10 hours to wait. That’s a good thing for me though… that gives me 9 1/2 hours to sleep, now that I’m done with this proposal I’ve been working on! ;-)
Sleep? Bah! Didn’t any tell you that sleep is over-rated :-)
Good luck in the mad rush tomorrow.
There is no delays on releasing CAP 2.0. As we announced through our blog and many posts, the launch date is Aug 25th 1pm PST/PDT. At this moment we still have 45 minutes left.
Please tell me your not using UPS for deliveries to Canada. I preordered too and thought that you would be shipping via USPS.
UPS likes to charge a stupid brokerage fee of about $40 on items from the US.
Please let me know how it was shipped ….
Hi Gary,
For international orders, including Canada we ship via USPS Priority Mail, this way you shouldn’t have to pay nothing extra in order to get the package.
Mark or Alida,
How soon will the sales transactions appear in our affiliate accounts?
We’ve generated 1 sale that we know of already, but it’s not showing up.
Thanks!
Thanks for that info Alida, Can’t wait for the package to arrive!
I am a writer and my latest book Writing: Step By Step is in its final stages. One chapter speaks about book covers. All of my previous books I used CoverActionPro. I would like to put something in the book about CoverActionPro and I was wondering how I could do that with the affiliate program? Thanks in advance for your time. Leonard Walker
